Press Sighting: Best Of NJ

“Not many of us can afford to own a luxury car like the Mercedes Benz pictured above, but we can all dream! The Vulcan Motor Club helps make dreams come true. They have different plans that allow their members to drive these incredible machines. They offer “Wind and Fire” tours that allow participants to drive cars that range in price from around $114,000 for the Audi R8 to a high of $495,000 for the elegant Mercedes SLR Mclaren. They also offer membership plans that allow members to take the car home for 10 to 40 days a year.”

Zamboni 101

YOU’VE SEEN ONE AT YOUR LOCAL ICE RINK, BUT HOW MANY OF YOU HAVE DRIVEN ONE?

Before Frank Zamboni developed the machine in 1949 that bears his name, resurfacing an ice rink took a team of men and a tractor about an hour. The early Zambonis were based on Jeeps. It wasn’t until 1964 that the Zamboni HD-series took on the enclosed shape and design that we know today.

Press Sighting: The Selvedge Yard

“I had mentioned awhile back that I have a new Saturday gig, and it’s not a bad one at that. Friends of mine started-up the Vulcan Motor Club in Chester, NJ (where I hang) and have also recently branched out to Long Island, NY. The club makes a lot more sense than sinking tons of your own dough into buying an exotic– when you join immediately there’s an arsenal of the latest high performance and luxury vehicles at your fingertips, with none of the ownership worries in terms of maintenance, upkeep, depreciation, etc. All you need to worry about is– which car will it be today.”

Press Sighting: Bryan Maltier

“The Vulcan Motor Club is just what your looking for if you want to drive a supercar but not pay the super price. The club allows you to reserve a car in their fleet to drive. From the looks of it they have some really great choices; The Aston Martin DB9 Coupe, Ford GT, and Audi A8 just to mention a few I wouldn’t mind taking for a spin. Membership prices range from $13,500 to $36,000 a year depending on how much flexibility you want. I only need the “Wind & fire tour” described below. It runs $1240 plus tax and is all I need for a quick rush.”
