In 2006, Alex Roy and Dave Maher raced their 2000 BMW M5 from New York to the Santa Montica Pier in an incredible 31 hours, 4 minutes - shattering the previous world record by over one hour. Join us as Alex opens up the shiny veneer of the outlaw racing world, explores the ethical dilemmas, and attempts to answer the question: “Was high-stakes racing worth it?"? You’ll also see scenes from the yet-to-be released documentary titled “32 hours 7 minutes."? We’ll have the BMW used for this trip on display – jammed with every conceivable technology.
